My mission is to develop fundamental basketball skills for boys and girls ages 8-18. Campers learn ball handling, triple threat, post moves, rebounding, court spacing, passing, defensive keys, team offense and defense.
I am offering day camps and overnight basketball camps. The camp experience consists of lectures, basketball stations, games, basketball contests, an award’s ceremony, and a participation certificate.
Keith Coleman conducts all instruction and demonstration. The camp teaches fundamental basketball skills, sportsmanship and team concepts. This Basketball Camp emphasizes the importance of maintaining a positive attitude, staying in school, and saying no to drugs and alcohol.
These core values help encourage and enhance a strong sense of self-confidence.
Basic drills are the same for all skill levels. Players with more ability are given higher-level drills and ball handling moves. The camp is great preparation for the next level of competition.
The Keith Coleman Basketball Camp’s mission is to help youth learn the productive mechanisms of team sports, teamwork, discipline, cooperation, setting goals, strong work ethics and establishing moral values. The Keith Coleman Basketball camp helps teach these concepts.
This basketball camp will cover basic concepts of the Keith Coleman basketball training method. No one understands the importance of good training like service members, so they can understand the importance of such a camp as this. Coach Coleman recommends this camp for returning players as well as players new to the program because it consistently reinforces the importance of having a solid foundation in unique basketball training development. The camps are co-ed unless requested differently and are designed for young beginner players as well as experienced players depending how it is designed. Don’t miss this opportunity to develop your child's game and take it to the next level.
What they will learn:
The Coleman training system will start to develop the complete player and enable them to score from any position on the floor.
How to maximize their foot speed with proper training techniques.
Proper practice techniques so players so players learn that practice is to get better not to waste time.
How to develop a solid foundation off the dribble or out of triple threat.
How to work within the game to exploit their competitor. Even faster and quicker players.
Coach Coleman will break down each drill and explain the exact reasoning for the drill. These basketball camps include a notebook for players to take note on what is being taught.
Day basketball camps are run in either a full day or a two half-day format. The one-day camp requires a minimum of 30 students and the maximum is determined by the space availability. This one-day basketball camp is normally 4 hours in duration. However, camps can be adjusted to accommodate base needs and availability. A normal one-day camp is 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., 1 p.m. to 5 p. m., or 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Rates vary beginning at $30.00 per player. We can set-up any one-day camp in your area.
Keith Coleman Basketball Training Camps
Coach Coleman teaches the fundamentals of the game like no other. With his military background, he inspire the players to train harder using both their physical as well as the mental skills. Each drill will be broken down and explained so each student will develop a clear understanding of the exact reasoning behind it. He also stresses conditioning as well as good eating habits.
Coach Coleman’s basketball camps are all co-ed, unless requested differently. They are like none you have ever attended. This camp is both physically and mentally challenging, yet still provides each player with the proper tools to elevate their game.
These camps build individual skills. There is no team scrimmaging or one-on-one competition. They are not a day-care or a trophy camp— they are for serious players wanting to elevate their game.
These Basketball Camps are open to military depends only and closed to the general public. We work with you closely to design the camp that best suits your situation.
Keith is the instructor and attends every camp. We provide a T-shirt, an autograph copy of Coach Coleman’s book, a basketball poster, and a notebook, for everyone attending the camp. We ask that each player bring water to have court-side for hydration and a towel. Also each camper should arrive 30 minutes prior to the start time of each camp.
Horseplay and poor attitudes will not be tolerated and could lead to dismissal from camp without a refund. Players are expected to behave as they would in a team environment. If your desires are to develop your child as a leader on and off the court, this is the camp for you.
Registration is available on-line for all sessions.
